Leeches
Leeches are segmented worms that are in the phylum Annelida. They do not have bristles on their body and their outside segments do not mimic the internal segments. Most leeches live in freshwater, with two suckers on both end, and are used in medicine to extract tainted blood from patients.
Leeches have a ventral nervous system with a cerebral ganglia anterior and with nerve cords running down its belly. They are broken down into identical segments and their nervous system is sometimes known to be a rope ladder.
One intersting fact about the leech is its ability to repair a cut off body part in just a few weeks
