Toucan
Toucans are at home in South America and are mainly recognizable due to their beak which is popular amongst kids.
Their beak is not just for show and is actually very usefulin getting high fruits and small animals within the holes of a tree. Some common animals that they eat are lizards, reptiles, and eggs. Its beak is also full of holes which allows it to containb much air and in combat provides no defense except in scaring away other poredators and against most beliefs its beak is rather light.
Like mammals, toucans have a brain, spinal cord and nerves. Their cerebral cortex is much smaller but a different part of the cerebral hemisphere is much larger their corpora striata. This is a basic structure but it is more developed then a mammals. It is used to control instictive behaviours like: feeding, flying, reproducing, etc. They have an autonomic nervous system which controls essential actions like a heartbeat, digestion, and breathing.
